The HyperGenome Translator

Organisms that thrive in hostile environments are called ‘extremophiles’. This demonstrates how humans position ourselves in an elevated position in nature. In reality all life forms are built with the same ‘building blocks’ and what is considered ‘extreme’ is subjective. Prokaryotic life has dominated most of the evolutionary history of our planet, what happens with our human-focused perspective of what life is, if it evolved and thrived in a setting we thought was inhabitable?

The HyperGenome Translator, collects genome sequence data from different organisms that are likely to survive on Mars and then translates them into new speculative life forms by using algorithms and 3D software.
